My News Programme Format

After doing my research into different news radio programmes, looking into different target audiences, and compairing different news programme, I started working on my own news radio programme format.

My News Programme Format

 

The programme starting with a generic news programme radio bed. With the summary of the news stories featured on the show.

The programme will have it’s “Main news story” from the local area, with the produced generic radio bed over it.

Featuring on the programme, will be a sports story and a music/entertainment story beside the main news story of the programme.

Near the end of the story and throughout the programme, the main news story will be repeated.

 

Also, some news stories will feature recorded interviews, to represent a view of a professional relevant to the news story, or the view of members of the public affected by a specific news story.

For some news stories, there will be a instrumental of a pop song in the background, so that it will fit the target audience of my news programme, which is young people.

The next step is to think of the stories for my news programme, then recording, radio bed production and much, much more
